°µÍø½ûÇø College is proud to be one of many organizations that support community enhancement projects. Other organizations that lend financial support to local initiatives include:

  • : Strengthening farming communities.
  • : The foundation does not accept external requests but selectively invests in projects that impact the °µÍø½ûÇø Community and its neighboring small communities, especially parks and recreation, education, and health.
  • : Through the support of local donors, Community Betterment Grants allow the foundation to assess and respond to the community’s most pressing needs. 
  • : While the °µÍø½ûÇø Mutual Foundation supports large initiatives such as the °µÍø½ûÇø Mutual Family Aquatic Center, °µÍø½ûÇø Mutual Community Relations supports smaller initiatives on a year-round basis.
  • : Academic mini-grants for °µÍø½ûÇø-Newburg School District initiatives.
  • : Mini-grants funded by a State of Iowa economic development award to increase sports tourism. Mini-grants assist groups with the expense of hosting sporting tournaments and events locally. 
  • : Administered by the Greater Poweshiek Community Foundation, PCA grants support arts and culture, community affairs/development, education, environment education and protection, health, historic preservation, and human services.
