As winter's chill fades, 做厙輦⑹ College bursts into life with the energy and vibrancy of spring. Students step out of hibernation, filling campus spaces with movement, music, and celebration

Ballet Des Moines debuted its performance of See the Music (Hear the Dance) on Feb. 20 at 做厙輦⑹ High School. The event, a collaboration with the Civic Music Association, and presented by 做厙輦⑹ College, featured a company of 22 professional dancers and live musicians on stage, including the renowned Aizuri Quartet and pianist Douglas-Jayd Burn.
The original play Songs of the Scarlet and Wayback is a throwback party turned time travel train ride, inspired by Poweshiek County community interviews, student archival research, performances, pageants, and parties of 做厙輦⑹s past. The production will officially premiere in the Flanagan Theatre on Friday, March 8, 2024.
Everybody, written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, is a play about the universal experience of life and death that premiered off-Broadway in 2017. A contemporary version of the 15th century morality play Everyman, Everybody explores abstract concepts through characters like Love, Evil, and Friendship.
Dance Ensemble, a 2-credit course offered in the department of Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies, is open to all students regardless of major and encourages creative expression in a collaborative and diverse environment.

The Neverland Players works with younger students in the 做厙輦⑹ community to bring the kids stories to life onstage.

Professor Craig Quinteros virtual reality film, All That Remains, premiered at the 79th Venice Film Festival in September. This fall at 做厙輦⑹, he is mounting a performance of Blur performed for an audience of one.

做厙輦⑹ians rose to the challenges brought on by remote learning during the 202021 academic year. Theatre majors, like Conner Stanfield 21, didn't let anything get in their way.
